Barry leads an unassuming, yet charmed life as the master in charge of all things great and small.

Physical exertion takes it’s toll on Barry, often requiring copious amounts of sleep and relaxation. Often the stress of opening his eyes can require at least 30 to 50 minutes of dozing to rectify the situation.

Barry accepts his role as the Alpha male with little dignity and grace, prefering to push his dominance of other creatures to the limit. Territorial issues are often at the forefront of Barry’s mind, requiring more physical exertion to clearly stake out his territory, and advising others of his real-estate.

Creature comforts are also important, with certain luxuries accepted as normal day to day life-style items. Dining is an epicurean delight as Barry daintily partakes of any food that he can mooch. Delicacies often feigned by others as crap can often become an amusing pastime for Barry as he delicately crunches the guts out of some small morsel.

However, this one at OziSite.com.au really seems free, and the only catch is a few well placed adverts on your pages. It comes complete with a CMS or Content Management System already setup, so all you need do is start creating your webpages.

The other thing is that the OziSite.com.au free webpages are only for Australian residents, and they verify your signup process by Australian mobile telephone number. You will receive an activation code by text message.

So, if you are from India or Bulgaria, or even Vietnam or Romania, you will not be able to activate an account without the Aussie Cell phone number. An operator will ring you if they are unsure of your email and phone number combo. Apparently this is set up to cutout spam and splog accounts just looking for somewhere to plant backlinks.

They also use a rel=NOFOLLOW on all links created on your pages, so not a lot of good for link chasers, but very handy for genuine users looking for a quality free website.

There are quite a few nice templates or layouts included as well, so you are not committed to the same boring layout as the rest of the field. The entire thing is powered by the powerful OziSite-CMS software, that is so easy to use that a small child can figure it out and create a safe web site.

There is no chat nor mail servers associated with your account, it’s simply plain vanilla “get on the net” with point and click configuration. Just enter the name of your site, edit the front page, start creating other pages, and you can even have pages in sub-menus too. The beauty is, you don’t have to worry about configuring menus and submenus, as the OziSite-CMS automatically does it all for you.

Yep, definitely good value for Aussies, and hopefully they will extend the service to the US in the near future.

Rumour has it that the medical team has performed a full 10,000 klm service on Artie, and inserted a shiny new springy thingy to keep him ticking for another hundred or so years.

Well it was overdue, and the blog system needed spam-bot proofing, so we got to work and revamped the entire site.

Bloggers now get a choice of 5 different templates or themes to choose from at the moment. Basically, there is Red - Blue - Green - Gold and this default bluish theme to display your blog in.

All the bugs and glitches have been attended to, so no more error messages about headers already being sent or page not found etc.

We have added a code number into the signup system to try and stem the flow of the thousands of pea-brained spammers and their blog-bots from creating useless wasted space blogs about their viagra experiences!

Spammers creating accounts manually, will still have to contend with posting manually, and park their bots elsewhere while on this site. Any promotional sites chasing click-thru’s, adverts, backlinks or page rank will be carefully monitored until they are producing a nice referer result for their site owner, and then we will edit them to reflect our own sites and products after you have done all the hard work. So spammers - be warned.

Genuine Bloggers on the other hand are more than welcome, and can blog away to their hearts content, using one of the best free blog sites available here in Australia.

Firstly, lets reiterate the plugpanel instructions for your ozifree plugboards. If you log into the admin dashboard of your plugpanel that is receiving nuisance plugs, you can either add the pluggers domain name or IP address to your list of bans. When that particular individual tries to plug on your plugpanel, they will receive a polite “Sorry you have been banned” message, and their plug will not stick.

This is the recommended method of banning pluggers. OziFree only applies total bans where a plugger has been aggravating the majority of plugpanels of the same type, and in particular where they plug on the OziFree site in contravention of our plugging T&C’s. Where a total ban has been applied, you may rest assured that OziFree will go out of their way to aggravate the nefarious plugger, particularly in circumstances related to either hacking, or simply pissing Ozifree.com off.

At the moment, you can select different background, border, and font colors, along with some exciting new fonts and sizes! Not only that, but then you can choose from a small series of animations to apply to your banner image.

There are lots of animation features on the drawing board including water reflections, text effects, oh and we are adding in the ability to select from different image backgrounds too. Presently you can choose effects like jumping text, or heart-beats, plus the usual glitters , snow storms and pouring rain. If you are looking for glitter, then try the “Flies” effect!

We found that different combinations of colors, fonts, sizes and effects can actually produce a lot more variations than what are listed. All in all, a great little tool as it updates every time you select a change, and you can even click the “update” button if you have entered a different text caption or position!

First we saw the new Timed Sky Banners make their debut with animated planes flying across the screen towing little advertising banners with the name of the web site they were promoting. The clever little planes begin flying at the top of the plugboard when first plugged or posted, and as time elapses, they begin flying lower and lower, until finally they reach the tarmac and become vacant again.

It’s an interesting concept that provides a unique twist to the basic plugboards, as pluggers do not even need to have their own button image, just a site title and the URL they wish to link to.

The latest addition to the plugboards stable, is the new and very unique Ferris Wheel plugboard. The wheel is now available currently decked out in the OziFree Christmas livery, that will revert to a skinnable typical Ferris Wheel, as soon as the festive season is over.

At the moment, 8 cute little smileys continually don their Santa suits as they rotate around the wheel, then they brush behind a Christmas tree, before appearing in the Gondola Station, where they can be clicked on to visit the web site they promote.

An interesting feature for the absolutely bored plugger is the ability to move the mouse cursor in the station and rapidly increase the speed at which the wheel revolves. Placing the cursor once again on a gondola while it is in the station stops the wheel from turning, until the cursor is moved outside the station square.

This would have to be one of the best examples of a Ferris Wheel Plugboard that we have seen yet.
